What yoga is taught? Traditional Hatha Yoga

Asana (posture) is not just the outer form and physical practice. In the performance of Asana, there is also a lot of spirit that is included. Questions like, where is the attention? What is the resulting state of mind? Do you feel a relaxation in the muscles of the body? Is there an expansion of consciousness occurring? are worked on in depth. Yoga is about both discipline and the elevation of higher consciousness. This is why the series that we are going to practice during the retreat are based on and faithfully guided according to scientific techniques, rhythm, coordinated breathing, as taught by Shri Yogendraji and by Smt. Sita Devi Yogendra, fathers of the oldest yoga institute in the world..
